My new favorite store!

I just built the headless guitar kit and it's incredible! Every single piece was perfect, and the instructions were so easy to follow. I spent hours building it, and it was the most fun I've had in ages. The quality is amazing, and it sounds fantastic. I'm already planning my next purchase, probably an offset guitar kit. I can't recommend Vibeworks Guitars enough!

Always reliable for pedal kits

This is my third order from Vibeworks Guitars, and they've been consistently good. I previously built an overdrive pedal kit and a fuzz pedal kit, and this time I got the delay pedal kit. Each time, the parts were all there, and the instructions were clear. The quality of the components is reliable, and I haven't had any issues with the finished pedals. They've become my go-to for DIY pedal projects because I know what to expect, and they deliver. Good to see that consistency.

Decent kit, minor shipping issue

I ordered a DIY bass guitar kit, the 4 string bass kit, and generally had a good experience. The components seemed to be of decent quality for the price, and the instructions were clear enough to follow. Shipping took a little longer than I expected, about a week and a half, but everything arrived well-packaged. The customer service was responsive when I inquired about the shipping delay. It's a solid option, though quicker shipping would make it even better.

Fun project, looks great!

So I decided to try building my own guitar, sounded like a cool idea. Grabbed an LP style guitar kit from here. It was actually pretty fun putting it all together, way easier than I thought it would be. All the parts were there, nothing missing. My friends thought it looked really good once I finished it up. Definitely happy with how it turned out, might try a pedal next.

Good value for a first kit

I was looking for a DIY electric guitar kit that wouldn't break the bank and found Vibeworks Guitars. I picked up an ST style guitar kit. The price was competitive, especially after I signed up for their newsletter and got a first-order discount. It felt like a solid deal for everything included. The savings made it really worthwhile for a first-time build. Overall, I got good value for my money.

How long does shipping usually take to, like, California? Want to get a kit for my dad's birthday next month.

M Mia 1 month ago
I'm in SoCal, and my last order (a pedal kit) took about 5 business days to get here. Came pretty quick.

Depends a bit, but usually pretty fast for the US. I'd say give it a week to be safe, maybe a bit more if it's a big order or around a holiday rush.

Hey, thinking about grabbing one of the guitar kits. Are these really good for a first-timer or am I gonna get overwhelmed?

M Mia Patel 1 month ago
Nah, you'll be fine. I built an ST kit last year and it was my first time doing anything like that. The instructions are pretty clear.

They're totally beginner-friendly! My buddy, who's got zero experience, put together a bass kit. Took him a while, but he got it done and it actually plays.

Does anyone know if Vibeworks does a student discount? I'm trying to save a bit.

T Tara D. 2 months ago
Yeah, I think they do. Check their site, it should be under a 'discounts' or 'FAQ' section. I remember seeing something about it when I signed up for the newsletter.

Yep, they have one! Used it myself for a pedal kit. Just need to verify your student status during checkout, or maybe before through a link on their site.

Are their electronics kits pre-soldered, or do I need to get out my iron and do it myself?

M Megan A. 2 months ago
Most of the kits require soldering for the electronics, that's kinda the DIY part of it. Some of the pre-wired pickguards might be an exception though.

Yeah, you'll need to solder. It's part of the fun! But if you're not into it, they do sell pre-wired stuff separately, I think.
